Locality: Long Lake Zinc Mine (Richardson Zinc Mine; Lynx Mine), Olden Township, Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada (See on Mindat)
Description:
Exceptional examples of the complex mineralogy at the Long Lake Zinc Mine in Canada. Only a couple of specimens like this were collected from one large boulder. They show the sedimentary action which created these rocks. This piece even has a nice vug of calcite crystals - almost unheard of from this mine. Second pic shows a similar vug on another specimen from the same find.
