Kevin Brady – Kevin Brady’s World of Fluorescents

FMS#463

I was born and grew up in Westfield, NJ and went to college at The South Dakota School of Mines & Technology graduating in Geological Engineering. It was there I found my love of minerals, and focused my interests in fluorescent minerals. I joined the Fluorescent Mineral Society (FMS) in 1982 as a sophomore in college. Moving to CA in 1986 I became involved with the local FMS meetings, becoming the UV Waves editor for two long stints, and was honored to have met and learned from Tom Warren. Now I find myself in my later years and still collect on occasion, but I mostly am selling my 40+ years of collected, traded for and purchased specimens. Some of those can be found on my eBay Store noted here, with many more being offered directly by contacting me and/or visiting me. I am hoping that my specimens will adorn the collections of our future fluorescent mineral hobbyists. I was happy to see some of my more prized specimens adorning the displays from the FMS Tucson Gem & Mineral Show Exhibits in 2022. Contact me if there is something in particular you might be looking for, and happy collecting to all.
