Locality: Mauldin Mountain, Montgomery County, Arkansas, USA (See on Mindat)
Size: 2 x 1.5 x 3.5 inches
Weight: 3.4 oz

Description:
In keeping with the theme du jour, here\'s a piece of green fluorescing wavellite from the famous Mt. Ida area - perfect for St. Patrick\'s Day, and better than green beer (personal opinion). Shown under SW, and dimly fluorescent under LW.

UPDATE:The original post said the wavellite specimen is from Mt. Ida. According to mindat.org for the Mt. Ida, Arkansas location: " NOTE: The phosphates (planerite, wavellite) are not from this quartz locality, but are from Mauldin Mountain Quarries, Mauldin Mt., Montgomery Co., Arkansas, USA."
