Description:
Leucophanite is only found in a few places around the world - most notably Norway, Canada (Mt. St. Hilaire (MSH)), and Greenland. It is quite rare in Greenland. This piece comes from Kvanefjeld in the Ilimaussaq Complex. It responds best to midwave UV light. The gallery below shows the MW, SW and LW responses.
