Locality: Taseq Slope, Ilímaussaq complex, Kujalleq, Greenland (See on Mindat)
Size: 4 x 2 x 5.5 inches
Weight: 1.56 lb

Description:
A fantasticly rich "eye" specimen of tugtupite on an analcime/lujavrite matrix. The cherry red tugtupite encircles chkalovite forming "eyes", while the analcime provides a backdrop of blue/white contrast. Areas of green fluorescence also due to chkalovite it is believed. Multi-color specimens like this are among the most sought-after Greenland fluorescent minerals. Only the tugtupite is fluorescent under longwave UV light.
