Description:
There is not too much information on minerals from Taiwan let alone fluorescent ones. This piece was purchased in Taitung by local collectors that were selling the raw material alongside the jewelry they made from it. This chalcedony specimen shows a light blue - almost white - response under 365nm LW with a similar less intense response SW (not shown).
