Description:
This is an old Sellaite (MgF2) (with minor Fluorite (CaF2) specimen coming from the BRGM (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières) in Paris (site: www.brgm.fr/fr).
Both minerals are present in "massive form".
The best fluorescence is in LW, but it fluoresces in MW and SW too.
Sellaite is yellow-lemon and fluorite is weak blue gray.
