Locality: Franklin Mine, Franklin, Sussex County, New Jersey, USA (See on Mindat)
Size: 1 x 0.25 x 1.5 inches
Weight: 1 oz
Description:
There is a post which displays Johnbaumite from Sweden and gives its history. The shortwave fluorescence was a lilac shade. The Johnbaumite from the Franklin Mine fluoresces a pumpkin orange under shortwave ultraviolet light. The brighter orange in the picture is calcite. No longwave fluorescence and midwave fluorescence is a dim version of that of SW - neither are pictured.
Shortwave fluorescent picture was taken at ISO-100, f/11 for 2.5 seconds.
