Locality: Huanzala Mine, Huanzala, Huallanca District, Bolognesi Province, Ancash, Peru (See on Mindat)
Size: 5 x 6 inches
Description:
Here is an interesting piece from the Huanzala Mine, in Ancash, Peru: fluorite surrounded by botryoidal calcite in almost a geode like formation. The fluorite glows as expected, and nice blue, and the calcite a nice red. Seemingly best in MW.
