Date: May 17th, 2026
Locality: Papineau RCM, Outaouais, Québec, Canada (See on Mindat)
Size: 10.5 x 6.2 x 11.5 cm

Description:
Shown here is one of the best pieces of fluorescent phlogopite and diopside I found, during visits in a new occurrence with one of my partners, in October and November 2020. As mentioned in a previous post, we found lots of phlogopite and diopside, as well as a few scapolite specimens on this property. I mention only the general area and not the exact location, since we were asked not to tell other collectors the exact locality, as it is located on private land.
