Size: 8 x 3.3 x 17.3 cm
Description:
Large cabinet-sized specimen of spodumene var. kunzite, from Coronel Murta, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Shown fluorescing under shortwave UV in the first picture, then under midwave UV and longwave UV in the next pictures. The specimen is shown in visible light in the last image.
Really nice and quite bright "multi wave" fluorescence on this specimen, with a drastic color difference under each UV wavelength; definitely one of my favorite specimens!
