Date: May 6th, 2026
Locality: Moscona Mine, El Pontón de Solís, Corvera de Asturias, Asturias, Spain (See on Mindat)
Size: 12 x 18 cm
Description:
Scalenohedral calcite with inclusions of pyrite and rare sand coating possible response with a nice orange color combined with rosacea offer their best response under MW.
These rare sands are common to find under many of the samples of fluorite, being the cause of an orange response in them and at other times appear as an outer coating as in the sample of these photos.
