Description:
Blocky, white, celestine crystals, partially altered to strontianite, sit on a light-colored limestone matrix, from the Stoneco Quarry, Lime City, Wood County, Ohio. This specimen shows a similar blue/white, fluorescent response under all UV wavelengths. It also phosphoresces blue/green following exposure to shortwave and midwave UV, and green following longwave.
