Fluorescent Mineral Database

A new secret project! Trying to create a nice Fluorescent Mineral Database (FMDB), which would be searchable by mineral, locality, and luminescence properties. Also making it easy for people to contribute with their own specimens!

Esperite, calcite and willemite from Franklin, NJ

Description:
This is on of the more difficult combos to photograph. It a large rock, more than fist-sized. All three colors are caused by manganese as an activator. There\'s also some hardystonite on the back side of this specimen but that glows too weak to be captured on photo.
