Thanks for considering a donation to the Fluorescent Mineral Society. As a member driven and volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Fluorescent Mineral Society is tasked with fostering and growing our hobby, while facilitating research to better understand and teach the science behind fluorescent rocks.
As we look to the future, we see a tremendous opportunity to capitalize on the intrigue of fluorescent rocks and the science behind them to supplement and enhance Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education in our schools. If you or your organization is interested in sponsoring these efforts in particular, please contact us.

The majority of our funding provides the resources necessary to produce and distribute both the “UV Waves” and the “Journal of the Fluorescent Mineral Society” publications. We support our regional chapters and their activities to meet the needs of their local members.

As we look to the future, we will invest in growing our hobby, especially as we reach out to the next generation of fluorescent rock collectors through a focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) curriculum.
