Specimens to trade

I have an assortment of self collected mineral specimens available for sale or to trade.  I have specimens of Corundum var. ruby from Cascade Canyon.  The specimens are 2 to 4 inches in longest dimension and have numerous small, mostly pencil lead diameter crystals from 1/4 to 3/8 inches long.  They fluoresce bright red, best under longer long wave.  Wollastonite (yellow orange SW) and calcite (red) from the White Knob Quarry, various sizes up to about 5 inches, some with aragonite (fl bluish and phos.)   From a new locality, a silver prospect near Victorville, CA I have hydrozincite (fl bright blue white) most with calcite (red), and some specimens that have the hydrozincite, red calcite, and yellow and ocher fluorescing material that might be calcite or may be something else.  Most specimens are three color though there are some four color pieces.  If you are interested please contact me off forum.  Photos available.

Specimens Wanted

Hello fellow FMS members around planet Earth and beyond if your technology allows you to view this. I am a brand new member to the Fluorescent Mineral Society and a new mineral and fluorescent mineral collector and enthusiast. My collection consists of 6 items. If you have a specimen of any size that you would like to share for just the cost of postage please contact me. I'm not begging............but if there are a couple of you long time collectors out there who have extra pieces that you could part with and help encourage a newbie it would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully, Paul Steele.

Re: Specimens Wanted

Paul,

I do have an excess of specimens, so if you do not mind e-mail me at kbrady@cslanet.calstatela.edu with your address and what you currently have so I do not send duplications.  Upon receipt, you can just reimburse me for the postage on the box.  Does that sound good?...Kevin Brady
