FMS - The Fluorescent Mineral Society

For mineral collectors traveling along IH-10, on July 1 we opened a stopping place at exit 539, Johns Road, in Boerne.  The Boerne Rock Shop has Texas petrified wood, calcite, agates, chert, and fossils.  We carry a variety of tools and lapidary supplies, including tumblers, saws, and UV Lamps.  The shop has a picnic area and customer restroom.  If you want to call ahead, you can reach us at 830-331-8642.  There's plenty of parking for RVs and shade trees over the entire site.  We recently added a Wi-Fi Hotspot and, to be thoroughly modern, a Facebook Page!

And oh, by the way, we will offer fluorescent material to trade and purchase (such as our Purple Passion Mine material).  Yes, we will trade--it's a rock shop.
