Most of the interaction in FMS takes place by email, postal mail, and through our formal publications.   Casual meetings are held yearly by the different regional groups in the USA and abroad.   Informal meetings are also held at the major shows which feature displays of fluorescent specimens.   These include the Franklin Mineral Show in Franklin, New Jersey, the Denver Show, and the Tucson Gem & Mineral Society Show.

Monthly meetings are also held in Pasadena, California by the parent group to conduct the society's business.
