As a member of the Fluorescent Mineral Society (FMS), you to receive six issues (12-16 pages each) of the UV Waves each year. In addition, you receive the yearly issue (30-40 pages) of the outstanding Journal of the Fluorescent Mineral Society. The Journal has both technical and semi-technical articles related to fluorescent minerals. The Journal is printed in color and always has numerous photos of fluorescent minerals. When you join the FMS (before Oct 1), you automatically get all back issues of the UV Waves and the Journal for that year.

Dues for 2011 are as follows: $20 for residents of the United States, $25 for residents of all other countries. A discounted rate of $18 is available to ALL members who elect to receive the UV Waves by e-mail (called eWaves). (The discount is $2 for domestic residents and $7 for residents of all other countries). New members pay a one-time $5 initiation. For convenience, you may renew for up to three (3) years.

There are many reasons to receive the UV Waves electronically. You receive each issue in color and you receive it earlier than those who elect postal delivery. Also, e-delivery costs less, which in turn helps the Society to keep dues as low as possible.
