There's more to the FMS website than meets the public eye!

We invite you to join the FMS and learn more about the fascinating world of fluorescence.

FMS members receive numerous publications, participate in forum discussions, and have access to a repository of special interest to the serious fluorescent mineral collector.

Your FMS membership includes:

    • Bi-monthly issues of the UV WAVES Newsletter
    • Access to expanded member discussion forums
    • Annual or biennial issues of the Journal of the FMS
    • Online access to an archive of UV WAVES Newsletters and past email discussions

Initiation Fee $5 US$5
Annual Dues   $20 US$25
Total for First Year $25 US$30

With UV Waves newsletters delivered online only, all regular dues are reduced to $18/year.

Please fill out our online membership application form and then make an online payment (or mail your payment to the address below).

A separate website registration form (not needed for membership) allows interaction with other FMS members.

For convenience, the FMS will accept an advance dues payment to cover one or two whole years, allowing members an option to renew for up to three years at a time. The FMS membership year runs from January 1 to December 31. If you join anytime between January 1 and October 1, you will receive all back issues for that year. If you join after October 1, your initial dues will include the following year at no extra cost. Annual membership renewals become overdue on January 1. Unpaid memberships lapse on the dues payment deadline of March 31st.
