The  FMS  Organization

The Fluorescent Mineral Society was founded in 1971, incorporated in 1993. We have over 450 members representing 47 US states and 20 countries - a truly international organization, managed and staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Members enjoy a variety of benefits, receive publications, interact by email, attend regional special interest workshops, and participate in the annual meeting of the society at Tucson.  

Our members include professional mineralogists, gemologists, amateur collectors, and others who study and collect fluorescent minerals. All interested parties are welcome to join our society.
