Note - you are attempting to use the old login mechanism. This will only let you get at old content, and it will only work with accounts and passwords that were active prior to the creation of the new web site setup. The new website requires a registration and a new password but has more content and many advantages, including automated password management. Unless you need access to old content, try out the new FMS member login page.

Here are the instructions for logging in to the OLD member archive...

Please login with your member number in place of your name.

Your FMS member number can be found on your membership card and on the mailing label of your UVWaves subscription. Note that the server expects the membership number with no leading zero or # sign. It was necessary to use a unique number for authentication because there are just too many variations on a name.

Passwords are unique to each member. Members who joined since 2002 will find a password on their FMS membership card. If that's not available, please fill out this password access request form. We usually respond within a day or two by email.

E-mail is not a secure way to transmit passwords. The mail may be stored on various servers during transit, and it can pass through public networks. To keep our site secure, please change your password after logging in for the first time.

Write your chosen password down in a secure place - on your membership card is fine. The changed passwords are encrypted on the server, and cannot be recovered if lost. The webmaster can manually "reset" a member's password if needed - just fill out the same access request form with a brief explanation of the problem and some means of confirming your identity.
